The Suspender Romper Every Summer Baby Wardrobe Needs

The Suspender Romper Every Summer Baby Wardrobe Needs

Warm-weather dressing for babies can be tricky. Too much fabric and they overheat. Too little and they get chilly the second the shade rolls in. A suspender-style romper hits the sweet spot: airy on the shoulders, covered where it counts.

Why parents love the suspender cut

Straps mean no waistband digging in, and no tight elastic to leave marks. The relaxed leg opening lets air circulate on warm days, so baby stays cool during nap time in the pushchair. The printed front adds a little personality, and the small knot detail is a lovely finishing touch.

An easy layering piece

On mild days, wear it alone with bare feet and a sunhat. When temperatures dip, layer over a plain white bodysuit and add soft leggings. The romper also works with sandals for a family lunch out, or with soft socks for a lazy morning at home.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C, inside out to protect the print. Line dry where possible to keep the fabric soft and the colours bright.
